I usually get an appointment within about 3 weeks unless it's urgent and then they fit me in.. There are not enough caregivers in my opinion so I hope Providence hires more to take some of the load off the ones we have now. Overall I am very happy with the care I receive at Providence as a veteran with community care!

Under the circumstances and being in excruciating pain, I was looked at almost immediately. I will be following up with more appointments for xrays, rehabilitation and possibly chiropractic help. The care I received helped ease my pain, but did not eliminate it. I feel the provider did a great job.

Doctor Houchens was really great! I had to wait quite a while to sew him, and I admit I was upset at first. But when my time came, he waa extremely good at listening and hearing what I was complaining about, even that I did not want medication per se, but I wanted and needed my pain to go away as it was overwhelming. He was so great at diagnosing the issue and making changes to my meds that actually helped me without having to give me a narcotic pain killer. I was truly impressed with how he handled my problems. I was even more impressed with the empathy and thoroughness he showed me despite me being seen so long after I arrived. He was worth the extra long wait. I really cannot say enough about how well he treated me when it was my time. Thank you. :-)
