Lisa Long, Doula

I became a Doula as a result of my own birth stories and experiences. I first received my certification as a birth and postpartum doula in the 1990s at The Seattle Midwifery School and have since received my recertifications at MotherTree Doula services in Portland, Oregon. I have had a passion for pregnancy, birth, and babies most of my life. I believe all those going through pregnancy, birth and postpartum deserve the service of a Doula. Having knowledgeable care and support through this time can empower you to have the best outcome for you and your baby. I was born and raised in Oregon. My husband and I have been together for over 32 years and have three amazing, beautiful children. Each one of my births was very different from the others. I have learned from experiences that you have the power to create your own beautiful birth story.
