About Alyssa R. Rizzuto
Dr. Alyssa Rizzuto (she/her/hers) is one of AKFMR’s own! She graduated from the Alaska Family Medicine Residency in 2020 and remained on staff as a Chief Resident for a year before becoming a member of the core faculty. She enjoys the full scope of family medicine and continues to treat patients in outpatient, inpatient, and ER settings, but her true passion is primary care for diverse populations with specific interests in treatment for substance use disorders, gender affirming care, and healthcare equity. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Alyssa enjoys cuddle puddles with her cats and husband as well as chasing beautiful views outdoors.
