“All people are unique, with their own experiences and beliefs,” says Angela. “It’s important to me to get to know my patients and to earn their trust so we can work together on optimizing their health.”

In her practice, Angela centers treatment plans and goals around each patient, and provides education to help them do everything they can to manage their health conditions. “Daily exercise, adequate sleep and good nutrition are some of the keys to better physical, mental and emotional health,” she says. “I advocate for these and try to integrate them into the care plan whenever possible.”

Angela grew up on the Oregon Coast and moved to the Rogue Valley in 1998. She earned her bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in nursing at Oregon Health & Science University. Most of her practice has focused on rural health care, including two years in a clinic on the coast. These days, she says, “I’m happy to be back in the Rogue Valley.”

In her free time, Angela enjoys vacationing with family, hiking, tackling home improvement projects, listening to music and reading good books.
