Prithvi Vallabh, MD

Dr. "Vee" grew up among the coconut trees of South India where he developed a deep passion for the life sciences. He pursued a Bachelor of Science in biology at SUNY Buffalo and took great pleasure in exploring molecular and medicinal chemistry, endocrinology and neuroscience. Later, he obtained his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Vee completed his residency in internal medicine at Dell School of Medicine in Austin, TX, where he honed his skills in managing complex patients with competing comorbidities.
Dr. Vee’s approach to medicine is rooted in a comprehensive understanding of physiology and pharmacotherapy, while recognizing that true healing and sustained wellness come from a holistic approach that acknowledges how our experiences, including trauma, manifest within our bodies and in our relationships. His practice pattern emphasizes the effectiveness of lifestyle interventions, using medications as an adjunct only where necessary. Dr. Vee has a special interest in working with queer populations, where he believes his lived experience helps him relate deeply and allows him to provide compassionate and personalized care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Vee enjoys a variety of hobbies. He's a passionate gardener and home cook, he loves spending time outdoors and traveling. As a certified sailor, he dreams of one day sailing across the South Pacific in a catamaran. He's also been known to ride a motorized unicycle and is considering taking up paramotoring. At home, he shares his space with Bunjee, an incredibly affectionate but notoriously chatty and loud cat.
