About Beck Nelson
Dr. Nelson earned his medical degree from AT Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a resident training in Internal Medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Ogden, UT, where he completed his undergraduate studies while also working part time as an EKG Tech. During medical school, he became actively involved in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), increasing access to healthcare, and serving underserved populations.

Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Ogden, UT. He was drawn to Portland for various reasons including his love for the outdoors and the fact that his grandfather completed his residency training in Portland in the 1950s/60s. His interests outside of medicine include basketball, football, golf, pickleball, hiking, skiing, and exploring National Parks.
