Leila H. Mesch, MD

Leila Mesch, MD, was drawn to pediatrics because she loves forming relationships with people from all backgrounds—and because, as she says, “working with children brings me great joy.” In her practice, she emphasizes preventive medicine through education and awareness and believes that pediatrics is the perfect place to foster these skills and help instill healthy behaviors at a young age.

Dr. Mesch believes in making her patient visits enjoyable. “Accessing health care is not always easy or fun, so I like to make the experience as friendly as possible.” She feels that her most important role as a provider is “to collaborate with patients and families, develop relationships and watch them grow together.”

After earning her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Mesch completed her internship and residency training at the Albany Medical Center in New York. She is board certified in pediatrics.

In her free time, Dr. Mesch enjoys hiking, cooking, and gardening with her family.
