Walter F. D'Costa, DPM

Dr. D’Costa brings over 38 years of experience as a practicing Podiatrist. He is a fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists and an associate of the American Professional Wound Care Association. He lectures Nationally as an expert in wound healing and limb preservation and has written numerous scientific articles on advanced wound healing practices.

He received his doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in from the California College of Podiatric Medicine and founded the Northern California Foot and Ankle Center of Santa Rosa in 1980. He is the medical director of the Sutter Santa Rosa Wound Care Clinic and the Podiatry section chief at Memorial Santa Rosa Hospital. He continues to train the next generation of physicians as an assistant clinical professor at the University of California San Francisco within the Family Medicine department.

He believes in putting patients first and developing individual, comprehensive plans the each patients needs.
