Lauren M. DeStefano, MD

Lauren M. DeStefano, M.D. is a fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in the management of benign and malignant diseases of the breast. Dr. DeStefano’s passion for treating breast cancer stems from her own personal family history, where both her mother and grandmother are breast cancer survivors. She believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer care and is passionate about patient-centered care. She strives to educate and empower her patients while navigating them through their treatment from beginning to end. Her goal is to achieve oncologically safe outcomes with exceptional aesthetics utilizing standard of care, current advances in the field and patient preferences. Dr. DeStefano is a faculty surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center whose office is in Tarzana allowing her to focus on caring for patients in the Valley.
