About Neil K. Worrall
Dr. Neil Worrall is a board-certified, cardiac surgeon with a focus on treating children and adults with congenital heart disease. Dr. Worrall specializes in performing heart surgeries for babies and young children, and has been an integral part of the innovative care provided at Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital. He has been heart surgeon in Spokane for over 20 years while also cultivating a broad range of professional experiences. Dr. Worrall is a member of the Providence Heart Institute Leadership Council, co-lead of the Providence Cardiac Surgery Focus Group and serves as clinical associate professor of surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine and at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University. He has been engaged in basic and clinical research throughout his career and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers in prestigious basic science and clinical medical journals. Passionate about the community and important causes, Dr. Worrall continually gives of his time and talent. His philanthropic positions include being a founding board member of the Mobius Science Center including serving a two-year term as Board President, a board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest, and serving as vice-president and surgical director of Healing Hearts Northwest (an international cardiac surgery humanitarian organization doing work in Rwanda).
