About Sriram Ravi
Dr. Sriram Ravi’s interest in cardiology originated from his research experience at the Arizona Heart Institute while in college, and grew exponentially as he went through medical training. His clinical interests within cardiology include hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac imaging, specifically echocardiography and cardiac MRI.
Dr. Ravi completed his medical education at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Following medical school, he came to OHSU in Portland for his Internal Medicine residency, Advanced Cardiac Imaging and General Cardiology fellowships. Additionally, he spent three months at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London where he received advanced training in cardiac MRI.
“Cardiology is a broad specialty that manages a whole host of conditions using a vast arsenal of radiologic, medical, and surgical/percutaneous options,” says Dr. Ravi. “Additionally, it is a field that allows the opportunity to create long-term relationships with patients and their families, which is truly rewarding.”
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ravi enjoys, sports, reading, coffee, running, music, and spending time with friends and family.
