Dr Mark Harwood is an exceptional Dr. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns. He was very attentive, asked several times if I understood my condition and the procedure that he recommended and again, he asked if I understood and if I had any questions... Dr. Harwood was I felt very knowledgeable and explained my condition in terms that I understood.... Which I appreciated so much. Thank you so very much Dr Harwood.

Every visit I have had at the heart institute have been excellent. The doctors, nurses and staff have always been professional, courteous and caring.

Dr. Mark Harwood has command of the medical science related to cardiology and is able to explain a diagnosis, issue or proposed treatment in terms that a patient can understand. He is efficient, but also compassionate & caring. I felt that Dr. Harwood listened carefully to my questions & concerns and gave me answers or explanations based on my test results that made sense to me. I have a high level of confidence in Dr. Harwood's assessment of my cardiac issue and his recommendations.

I had excellent experience of medical care with Dr Harwood since I first consulted him in September 2023.Apart from being a very good listener, he explained well my heart disease and answered all my queries.I was called in for device check and device interrogation and it would have been better and more satisfying to hear the assessment at those stages from Dr Harwood. However, this is not a reflection on the care provider but the hospital's protocol being followed by the care providers.

Dr Harwood was friendly and collegial; he spent much time perusing my "E-chart" to try to learn whether I actually had a heart condition that his "Watchman Device" would warrant inserting. I felt respected and never felt "talked down to". He answered all my questions; many in great depth. Yes! I'd recomnend him to others. A shame he is so specialized! I'll likely never see him again.

Dr Harwood prescribed a once a day medication In place of taking It 3 times a day. This has been so much easier.

Dr. Harwood aways treats me very well. He listens and answers my questions in an easy-to-understand manner. If he doesn't know the answer to my questions, he looks them up. I am always treated very well by everyone in the office, from the receptionists, nurses, and technicians.

The provider listened to all my questions and provided me with clear and precise information in response to them. I understand my medication plan and my test results clearly.

This appointment was for a yearly checkup on my heart to make sure everything was stable. My questions were answered and I never felt rushed. As long as things are stable I won't need to see Dr Harwood until next year. I would recommend Dr Harwood to anyone that needed to see a Cardiologist. The Providence Cardiology is great.

I've had mostly good experiences with most Providence providers, and a very bad one with one Providence provider. Not only is Dr. Harwood a complete, utter and welcome contrast to the bad one, but he also stands out as excellent over and above the other great doctors I've seen in your system.
