Cynthia Easley, RDN, CDCES, LD

Cindy Easley, RDN, CDCES, LD completed her Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Nutrition at Washington State University, and Dietetic Internship in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She has worked in a variety of different settings including outpatient counseling, family practice, hospital and adult care facilities, and is experienced with a wide range of different eating plans. She developed an interest in diabetes and diabetes prevention and achieved her Diabetes Specialist certification in 2000. She believes in the importance of listening to patients and partnering with them to achieve their health goals through lifestyle change and making small changes at a time to improve skills and achieve success. Cindy enjoys teaching both one on one and in group settings, and frequently volunteers for events throughout the community. She loves all things nutrition from the ground up, including composting and growing organic vegetables and fruit, trying out new recipes, incorporating whole foods into a busy lifestyle, food preservation and waste reduction. Outside of work she stays busy on her small farm with her husband taking care of their sheep, chickens and cats, working with rescue dogs, hiking, gardening, and yoga.
