Alyssa George, MA, RDN, CNSC, CSO, LDN

Alyssa’s experience in nutrition and cancer care spans from work in cancer prevention, through helping people who are undergoing treatment live well and feel their best, to assisting people in reducing their risk for recurrence. She truly believes good food can make a difference.

Currently, Alyssa works as the Program Manager for Oncology Nutrition and sees patients at Providence Cancer Institute in Portland, OR. She began her work in oncology nutrition during a career with Kaiser starting in 2004 and joined the Providence team in 2021. Alyssa has her Master’s Degree from San Francisco State University. In addition, she has advanced certifications as a Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC).

Outside of work, Alyssa loves spending time with her family, taking her miniature schnauzer for long walks and enjoying good food, whether in the Northwest or in her travels around the globe.
