Mary Rose Robinson, Doula

As a doula it is my mission to support each woman’s right to safely birth in a way that aligns with her emotional, physical, and relational needs and desires. I support birthing in whatever way the mother desires. I love providing comfort measures during labor, advocacy to assure that mothers can give truly informed consent, and resources to help throughout this amazing transition. I also specialize in unmedicated birth, VBACs, and births of multiples. When I’m not with a birthing person or a family welcoming a new member, I can be found discussing the intricacies of Minecraft with my twin boys, or twirling in my living room while my daughter sings that cool Disney song for the five hundredth time. My self-care includes mindful yoga and extensive (though not necessarily practical) food gardening.
