About Mackenzie K. Lamb
Mackenzie Lamb, PA-C, decided to become a physician assistant because she wanted to help others. She enjoys the relationships she establishes with her patients. "It's important to listen to patients, communicate openly and build rapport," she says. "Not only is this important in being a safe and effective health care provider, but it's also incredibly rewarding."
In her practice, Mackenzie emphasizes preventive care and health maintenance. She feels her most important role as a provider is to offer information and guidance, and ultimately to encourage patients to take the driver's seat in managing their health. "I believe in acting as an advocate and a source of support," she says.
