Penny was incredible. I was very grateful for her time and help. We were dealing with a situation which stressed me out incredibly and I had already explained it so many times that I just fired off words at her like a machine gun. She was patient and had me slow down and take my time. I really appreciated that she gave me a minute to just complain about how ridiculous the situation was and showed compassion in that way. I felt a lot better complaining to someone official and hearing back, YES, THIS IS VERY SILLY. IT SHOULDN'T BE LIKE THIS. Sometimes that's all we need, to be heard. Also, I appreciated that my chart notes were all correctly gendered. I often flinch when reading my post visit or phone call notes - I always do, to make sure I didn't forget anything - bc I am so often misgendered. When it's right, I notice.

I usually see another provider who knows me better but she was not available. I was pleasantly surprised at how well informed and specifically helpful this provider was.
