Derrick E. Hall, MD

Derrick Hall, MD, first became interested in medicine because of his own experiences with health challenges as a child. He was drawn to the way physicians could impact their patients’ lives and chose family medicine because of the variety of patients and problems he sees, as well as the relationships that he develops with patients.

“I believe in empowering my patients, as ultimately it is their responsibility to take care of their health,” says Dr. Hall. “I see my role as a coach and cheerleader, and building trust with patients and their families.”

After serving a two year mission for his church in Michigan, Dr. Hall earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, then went on to complete his medical training through the McKay-Dee Family Medicine Residency Program in Ogden, UT. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Hall specializes in a variety of specialties including newborn and pediatric care, adult and geriatric care, endocrine disorders, minor procedures, biopsies, circumcisions, various skin procedures, and laceration repairs.

Dr. Hall was born and raised in Pasco, Washington and is the youngest of eight children. He and his wife love the outdoors including snowboarding, hiking, biking, backpacking, scuba diving, and swimming. He is very excited to be back in the northwest after many years away.
