About Yahn-Kun Chiou
Dr. Yahn-Kun Chiou provides compassionate care for his patients and their families. He has a special interest in women's health, pediatric care and preventive care. He chose family medicine so that he can care for people of all ages and of different backgrounds.
In his practice, Dr. Chiou takes a comprehensive approach to care - treating the whole person, not only the condition. He also emphasizes preventive care. "Preventive care is the best treatment," he says. "I provide support for my patients and enjoy helping them become healthier."
After earning his medical degree from National Taiwan University School of Medicine in Taipei, Dr. Chiou completed his internship and residency at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed a fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Dr. Chiou, born in Taiwan, is married with three children. His hobbies include swimming, hiking and playing tennis.
