About Keya Malhotra
Dr. Keya Malhotra, MD, is a Primary Care Physician Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College in India. She completed her internal medicine residency at Sinai Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, and did a fellowship in geriatrics at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Following her training, she spent several years practicing and teaching internal medicine and geriatrics in Rhode Island, before moving to Lubbock with her family in 2018.
Dr. Malhotra feels at ease treating complex and multiple medical conditions that coexist in the aging adult. Her passion lies in caring for the elderly, and is a vocal advocate for maintaining their dignity and independence. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. She also emphasizes the need for preventative medicine and patient education.
