Megan Locher, MD

In her practice, Megan Locher, M.D., believes her most important role is to empower women with knowledge and understanding of medical conditions and treatment options, so they can make informed decisions about their health. "I try to create relationships in which each patient feels comfortable asking questions and expressing concerns, so that we can develop a treatment plan together that addresses individual needs," she says.

Dr. Locher entered the field of medicine because she really enjoys getting to know patients and their families - supporting them as they navigate some of the most significant events in a woman's life. After earning her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University, Dr. Locher completed her internship and residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. Dr. Locher is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. In her free time, Dr. Locher enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, swimming and traveling.
