About Dharmini Manogna

As a Hematologist and Medical Oncologist, Dr. Dharmini Manogna specializes in the treatment of blood disorders and cancers, with a particular focus on breast cancer. Raised in India, she graduated medical school with high honors from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. After completing Internal Medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital, she pursued a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she was nominated as Fellow of the Year and served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Manogna’s expertise spans across the management of various solid tumors, blood cancers, and benign blood disorders. She is a firm believer in a team-based, patient-centric approach, ensuring care is not only effective but also aligned with each patient’s unique needs and values. Alongside her commitment to patient advocacy, Dr. Manogna is passionate about advancing cancer research. She was awarded the prestigious Conquer Cancer Merit Award at the 2024 American Society of Clinical Oncology [ASCO] annual meeting for her study on “Genomic and Tumor Microenvironment Dynamics of Brain Metastases in Breast Cancer.” Her professional interests also include exploring cancer disparities and communication in oncology care.
