Scott P. Layne, MD, FACP, FIDSA practices infectious disease medicine in West Los Angeles, California. In addition, Dr. Layne is a physician-scientist known for interdisciplinary work in applied virology, large-scale laboratory technologies, biological security policy and epidemiologic analysis. He is a Professor at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute, Professor Emeritus at the UCLA School of Public Health, and former Staff Member at the Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.
