Hima B. Ravi, MD

Dr. Hima Ravi is a Board-Certified Internist with 22 years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient care for adults with acute and chronic illnesses. After completing medical school in India, she did her internship and residency training at Coney Island Hospital, a busy city hospital in Brooklyn, NY. In 1999 she moved to Lubbock, Texas and was in private practice until she joined Covenant Medical Group in September 2022. She now sees patients at Covenant Medical Group's Southwest Diagnostic Clinic. Dr. Ravi practices both outpatient and inpatient management to maintain continuity of care. She will see patients at nursing facilities in a post-acute care setting and provide continuous call coverage for all medical needs. Preventive immunizations are available at her clinic and walk-ins are welcome. Dr. Ravi also performs preop clearances and postop medical management as needed for patients requiring surgeries. She also delivers palliative and comfort care for terminally ill and chronic patients on hospice services. In her free time, Dr. Ravi enjoys participating in Indian cultural activities, yoga and Zumba dancing.
