About David Chan
The author of the highly acclaimed book Breast Cancer: Real Questions/Real Answers, A Guide for Patients and Families, Dr. David Chan graduated from medical school and completed his residency in internal medicine at UCLA, where he spent a year teaching before moving on to Stanford to train in oncology. Dr. Chan is a longstanding instructor at the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center and has trained numerous medical students and oncologists in breast cancer treatment. He was instrumental in developing the UCLA Translational Research Institute, a clinical research program affiliated with the UCLA Division of Hematology/Oncology that has included many clinical trials in breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer and lymphoma.
