About Nasir Khan
Nasir Khan is a fellowship trained Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Nephrologist. After graduating from medical school in Pakistan he initially joined an ER residency program in Queensland, Australia. He made good friends with a few Kangaroos there but inevitably fell for Kidney Transplantation shortly after and enchanted, headed to the US to fulfill this destiny. He completed Nephrology Fellowship at Yale and Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, then joined UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas as Assistant Professor in the Kidney Transplant Program. After serving there for 3 years, he recently joined Providence Sacred Heart as Medical Director of the Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Program. It is said that Cascadias and lifelong fascination with Mt Rainier might have been partly responsible for this move!
