Dr. Buchanan is absolutely amazing gift to Providence. He has been my OB for 16 years. I feel blessed. Always has provided me with the best care.I am a healthy 45 year old woman. Upon check-in the medical assistant asked me if my chance I was still getting my menstrual cycle. I felt very offended considering my age. I encourage the question, when was your last cycle? Please train and educate your staff on the importance of not making assumptions.

I was not told what he was doing, was not communicated through each of his steps, and no one should ever have to feel like that is being rushed. Communication is very important. I loved that womens health is a separate building with its own parking, convenient. I have a recent ankle fx and I was able to find disabled parking near the entrance. The receptionist was scary, no smile. The next receptionist was smiling and more warm.Dr Buchanan was great and answered all my questions. Because I was in my period, I could not get pap smear so that has been rescheduled to August. I had hoped for sooner appt. Love labcorp on site, dr ordered a test. Sadly, I have some other pending tests but could not do them all together. I don't see why not since they were ordered by a Providence physician. Overall, good experience.

Had a really good experience with my care provider and staff I do however wish that more ultrasounds were given to ensure the safety of the baby as I expressed concerns from previous pregnancy
