Cathy Gentry, MD

Dr. Gentry is a native Texan who completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at UT Southwestern in Dallas. During residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, she served as Administrative OB/GYN Chief and received the Ephraim McDowell Award for Compassionate Women’s Care. Dr. Gentry is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Gentry’s clinical interests include patient education on preventive services and health promotion and increasing access of healthcare services to the underinsured. She is a native Spanish speaker and strives to ensure thorough communication with all her patients while providing them with individualized and evidence-based care through all stages of their lives.
