About Lauren M. Mcintyre
Lauren is a physical therapist who received her doctorate at Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR. She is a certified stroke rehab specialist and has been certified in Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR). She also treats patients with other neurologic conditions such as multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, and neuropathy. She is a vestibular trained therapist and enjoys taking a creative approach to patient care. She is also a clinician at the Providence multidisciplinary clinic for ALS in NE Portland. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, gardening, and adventuring outdoors.

Lauren has experience and personal interest in the LiteGait Treadmill system. This is a device that her clinic has and uses regularly.
The LiteGait treadmill is a body weight support treadmill training system. This equipment can be used for many patient populations: CVA, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injury, amputees, and those individuals affected by balance disorders or with generalized deconditioning. It allows safe intervention at high repetition and intensity to induce functional gains in gait and balance. This is an exciting new device that can serve so many individuals and provide comfort in challenging movement boundaries.
