About Brian Magovern
Helping people get their lives back after an injury or long-suffering from chronic pain is Dr. Magovern’s favorite part of being a doctor. It's what drew him to the field—knowing that he could really make a difference in a lot of people's lives. He stays current in all the latest orthopedic medical advances, including in his specialty, the shoulder and elbow areas.
Years of experience and specialized training and education have taught Dr. Magovern to start without assumptions each time a patient comes through the door. He listens and looks very carefully before moving forward.
Dr. Magovern is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in the shoulder and elbow areas. He is also the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. This has given him thousands of opportunities to hone his surgical and non-surgical skills.
