He was very personable. Which I appreciate. He helped set up an appointment for me with another doctor to see about my shoulder, which will have to be approved by PACE, who handles making my appointments.

Took awhile to get in for appointment as a referral was necessary first. The office staff were wonderful. Dr Wimmer listened and explained and answered my questions. I thought he was fine.

Thus far all experiences that I have had with them have been good, Explanatory, and concise. I will be able to give a much better answer about many of these questions after my knee surgery has been performed

It took four years to get surgery. It was during covid though. My referral kept getting sent to a variety of places and there was much confusion on how to handle my case as my nerves were getting worse and worse.After I was accepted at the Orthopedics office. Everything went smoothly afterwards.

Dr Wimmer took time, actually listened, and offered solutions and asked what I would prefer. I appreciate a doctor who talks and listens.

Dr. Wimmer and care team have been exceptional from my first consult, through knee surgery repair, and all after care. Have recommended him as a surgeon to 5 times to people since my surgery on September [Date] 2024. It's been outstanding. This county is better for having him and I hope he stays here!!!

Waited 4 months to see my surgeon Kilgore. Got there and I was booked under new patient with this provider that didn't have the experience . This provider was kind but not helpful at all. The office manager shawna came and and apologize for the scheduling mistake and the long wait to see my doctor. She moves some things around and Dr. Kilgore agreed to see me on his lunch break in two weeks. I was very disappointed that I clearly spoke booking my appointment with Dr. Kilgore. It's very important to me to have the same surgeon that knows my history and has been working with me for the past three years was let down. Spent the day getting all my ducks just to be at this visit. It's very frustrating when they ask you questions about your medication on the phone, but then they book you as a new patient. .

This is the 2nd time I have taken this survey for this visit, for this doctor. I am very happy with the care I received from him and his staff. I have received several surveys for this doctor the two appointments I had with him, a survey for my PMD whom I am also very happy with, but I have NEVER received a survey for my ER visit and 2 day hospital stay at St Joseph Providence Eureka on September [Date], although I got a survey for the ultrasound tech who did my ultrasound while I was in the hospital. I would have had a lot of feedback for you regarding my hospital stay, but too much time has elapsed now for it to be accurate. I think doctors Wimmer and Swenson are excellent doctors. I do not need anymore repeat surveys for the care I received from them for the same dates over and over. Thank you

I have already completed a survey on this physician. And as I said on my previous survey, Dr. Wimmer knew exactly what needed to be done for my situation. My personal physician Dr. Swenson also knew exactly what needed to be done, which is why he made the referral for me to be seen by Dr. Wimmer. During my hospitalization and for days afterwards, my condition was worsening and my mobility was worsening. After Dr. Wimmer drained the blood out of my knee, I had immediate relief & steady, progressive, daily improvement in my ROM & mobility ever since. I now have hope that I will be able to return to work, and to go on my 4-6 mile daily walks soon. He fixed me. If it had not been for the intervention of these 2 doctors after my discharge from the hospital, I do not believe I would have the hope that I have now to return to my healthy, active lifestyle. I am grateful.

Dr. Wimmer performed surgery on my knee. He has been very thorough before, during, and after the procedure. He spends time explaining the process at each step. I have felt very cared for.

My daughter was injured badly one month before we got in to see this provider. We had been to the ER, to her primary and had gotten her MR's done and then waited to find out the severity. Her primary said it was a significant injury and she should get in to orthopedics quickly. It hurt very bad to put pressure on the knee so we had her on crutches while we waited. At the appointment the doctor seemed unpleased to be there with sighing and seemed annoyed that she was on crutches. He ask us "And why do you have her on crutches?" It just felt as if we should have known to start making her push through all her pain and use the leg when we didn't know if things were torn and she could possibly make things worse. Had we been seen sooner we most definitely would have made those changes. Just the way he spoke to us just felt not very inviting. All other staff was very nice and the person who did her X-rays in the office was excellent.

I did not see the doctor. He ordered xray and I obtained his analysis on the healthcare website. He did not examine me about the issues I needed addressed. Injections were done by a medical assistant who interacted with the doctor.

I am very grateful to Dr. Wimmer fo fixing me. I know without his intervention, I would not yet be walking. I know that doctors always have to tell us the pros and cons, that's informed consent, but he was very patient with my ambivalence and let me make my own informed decision. I am so grateful for his skills. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. And though he made no guarantees, he fixed me. I am a very active person, I walk 4-6 miles/day, I work a job that keeps me on my feet for the entire shift, I work in my yard and garden, I do not stop until I go to bed. I was loosing hope that I would ever have that life again. Now I have hope that I will. He is a good doctor. I had never met him before this encounter

Dr. Wimmer is the surgeon that operated on my broken hip four weeks ago.

I appreciate everyone at the hospital, everyone was very professional and respectful, they treated me and my family very good. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Dr. Wimmer and his staff explained everything in an easy to understand manner. He listened and was kind and patient.

He seemed to take my arthritis diagnosis lightly, like it was no big deal. He did check past MRIs and found none. I had asked him about my low back, hips, and sciatic pain and he told me he couldn't find past MRIs (I've had at least 3) and things can change and I should ask my PCP to refer me to a back specialist who would order a current MRI. I went to Providence on a referral from the ER. My PCP seems reluctant to refer me although I have been in pain for over 20 years (the knee arthritis is newly diagnosed although I have been unable to kneel on it in all that many years.

The office staff were friendly and efficient. The x-ray tech was fast and professional. My provider explained my condition very well and made a positive impression on me. When I need surgery, he will be my surgeon. Much appreciated my experience.

I really liked the notes Dr Wimmer did for my case. He wrote everything I spoke with details and all the next things we will do with details so I don't need to ask him much questions in case I forget I can read the notes. He seems very professional and I truly hope to get my surgery successfully with him as I think I'm in good hands.

Staff friendly, helpful and assisted me in the paperwork my employer was asking for. He did the first cray of my hand done since the first surgery. Spent time completing all of my paperwork and answered questions and listened.

Dr. Wimmer was a very good orthopedic surgeon. First time I've ever had knee surgery but he did a very good job and I was up and moving around in next to no time. I am so pleased with the level of care and concern they showed for me.

This was the most pleasant doctor visit I have EVER had. There was an extremely short wait, may-be two minutes. Everyone was upbeat and respectful. The office was clean and beautiful! Dr Wimmer was fantastic!
