About Edward Y. Lin
Dr. Lin has 2 driving principles in patient care. 1. Good health is a way to live a better life - with family and friends, with the things we love. 2. Good health is the sum of small positive decisions made consistently every day.
He works with patients to make the positive decisions everyday so they can spend more time with family and friends, doing the things they love. Sometimes with medications, sometimes not. Sometimes with specialists help, sometimes not. Sometimes just with a conversation. Always asking the big question - how do we keep good health in order to live a better life?
His general education includes a BSc in Microbiology & Cell Science from the University of Florida and MSc. in Molecular Medicine from University of South Florida.
His medical training was at Rocky Vista University in Denver and completed Family Medicine Residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Arizona. He's been practicing here in Portland since 2017.
Outside of clinic, he enjoys freediving, reading with his family, and also some work in global / migrant health.

Dr. Lin ordered lab tests as we discussed in October. Some of these identified a new problem with Vitamin B12 level. He ordered OTC Vit B 12 which is helping and should over time improve my health. Yesterday my neurologist noted the same in our discussion of my concerns. I appreciate Dr. LIn's knowledge and skill in helping me.

This is my biggest complaint about your system, it takes a long time to get an appointment.Dr. Lin was great, I felt he really had respect for me, and cared about my health. He spent a lot of time with me. I'm hoping that he will remain my doctor for a long time.

Dr Lin works extremely well and Is very respectful to my developmentally disabled sister. He talks directly to her and listens to her regardless of her difficult speech.
