About Gabriel Q. Larson
Dr. Larson was inspired to become a doctor after volunteering at a hospital in Swaziland, in Southern Africa. Despite minimal resources, care provided at the hospital had an enormous impact on people’s lives. He chose to become a pediatrician when he discovered how much fun he had working with kids.
As a pediatrician, he believes in partnering with children and parents. In his own words, “I enjoy helping families navigate the process of children becoming resilient adults. As the child of a single mom and now with two kids of my own, I understand that family life includes many challenges. I want our visits to be supportive, engaging, and guided by the most up-to-date practices.”
Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Larson earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and did his internship at Oakland Children’s Hospital. He completed his residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He is a board-certified pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Larson enjoys playing soccer, spending time with his wife and two daughters, running, biking, taking family camping trips, and renovating their 1913 fixer-upper.

Dr Larson was very thorough with my daughter's illness. He spent time understanding what symptoms she had and further ordered an x-ray. That ended up showing her pneumonia which we then treated. Thank you for your help!
