About Maria Teresa Dellino
Teresa Noon is a Board Certified Pediatrician. She was born and raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico where she obtained her M. D. degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes. After completing her pediatric residency at the National Institute of Health Hospital Infantil Federico Gomez, a renown and prestigious third level pediatric hospital in Mexico City, she returned to Aguascalientes where she worked as pediatrician in the public and private health sectors. Prior to moving to Washington, Teresa completed pediatric residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center/Children’s Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Teresa is a child advocate with a very well-defined cultural sensitivity. Her mission is to make children’s lives better by providing the highest quality of care in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood diseases. She is a strong believer in building good relationships not only with her pediatric patients but also with their families, who should also be involved in the decision-making process for optimal health care. Her philosophy of care is to provide a comprehensive medical care to our patients in a professional and empathetic manner. Of her care style, Teresa says, "I believe that being an immigrant myself, I have a very well-defined cultural sensitivity, which is important to incorporate it into clinical practice when working with a diverse patient population. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, which could also be beneficial when caring for Latino patients."
