I find Dr. Lui to be a caring , thorough and concerned doctor who never makes me feel rushed and addresses my concerns. He is definitely one of the better ( probably best) doctors I've seen in Portland.

I have never had a doctor spend as much time with me and listen to me as thoroughly as Dr. Liu. I did not feel rushed and I felt like he truly cared about listening to my entire healthy history and concerns. Thank you!!

Dr Lui is a thoughtful intelligent, caring, practitioner who seems to truly care for his patients. He takes a thorough approach. He remembers your condition, what you've said as well as how things worked out! He seems to be a relatively new practitioner but not hesitant to step out and order a novel idea or make a referral . He was quick to share he could not do a complex procedure but his partner could. I'm old, 9 months into an injury with little recovery. Dr Lui convinced me he knows what is wrong and how we can deal with it.

Provider was very thorough, formal. Gave recommendations for initial steps for addressing main issues.

The front office person greeted us in a friendly and professional way. The medical assistant explained what she was doing with each step. Very pleasant. Dr. Lui was familiar with the details of my previous visit and was very thorough overall

He was smart, knowledgeable, empathetic, understood exactly my needs and gave me a clear and credible plan for ongoing healing and fitness, exactly what I was hoping for.

It has been close to impossible to get appointments for almost any Providence provider. However, this is not the providers fault. This provider is excellent and has been able to "push through" some crucial tests and appointments for me.

He knew what he was doing. It is not ,for the patient , a comfortable procedure. The results are good so far.

Dr. Lui was amazing - he explained things really well and I felt like he was listening and asking helpful questions about what I've been struggling with in a caring and informed way. I felt a lot better after being able to talk about what's been going on for me, I have a clearer idea of what options I have and some possibilities for moving forward.

Dr. Lui is very professional, takes his time and is very thorough. He is very kind and respectful which is important to me. He is a wonderful doctor!

Great Doctor this survey does not match his role

I was very impressed with Dr. Garret Lui. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very articulate and he treated me with great respect and compassion.

The reception team was 15 min late getting back from lunch so I waited in the hallway until they unlocked the door. Dr. Lui had a decent understanding of my history but lacked compassion and bedside manner. I was in quite a bit of pain, but feel that little was accomplished during this visit.

I was.ki d of upset going in to another doctor over the r. Hip and r. Foot but I'm running out of doctor's to figure out the popping out hip problem been at it for almost 3 years. Dr. Lui was very different he actually talked to me and answered all my questions yes it was.painful.movements and I cried.butninwas able.to walk out of there which is good all other doctors cripple me.more. I was.very surprised that he cared about my health which was.very refreshing all other doctors talk to me longest time is 10 min. Dr. Lui answered all my questions and made.me.feel very relaxed and he cared what is going on I told.him so maybe he is the doctor I've.been looking for. I will see Dr. Lui again for injections and more scans which I pray he finds why it keeps popping out. Dr. Lui is so far.a.good doctor.in my book. Thank you

It took 2 months to have an appointment for a steroid injection to a painful area. That is far too long.Dr. Lui took lots of time to address my questions and needs, and was very careful in giving the injection.

Very knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful

Dr. Lui was my first visit and a referral by my Primary care doctor for my back pain. He was one of the best doctors I have seen.

I found Dr. Lui extremely informative and and made my complex situation easy to understand. He is kind and compassionate about the symptoms and discomfort I am experiencing. When I called to ask for a referral it was Dr. Lui himself who called me back to explain how I should proceed. I feel very very well taken care of by Dr. Lui.

He followed up on my back pain, which is better.When I brought up chronic, recurring shoulder pain, he examined my shoulder, and referred me for an X-ray, gave me advice on pain relief and exercises and told me he would follow up after the X-ray.I really like this provider. He is friendly and knowledgeable and really listened to me about my shoulder issues.

Dr.Lui is amazing. He stands out above and beyond other providers for his caring and his interest is solving the problem at hand. A number of others (at Providence) dismiss what the patient says or tries to fit them into a box. When the box doesn't fit, they blame the patient. Dr. Lui is very smart and very caring, a perfect combination. Thank you to Dr. Lui for his help.

Doctor came up with a plan to help me also I went away with all the info written down for me

The provider listened, explained, questioned, examined, and recommended next steps, - all helpfully! The provider also quickly responded to my Providence "My Chart" message to him.

I felt Dr. Lui listened to me and did not rush me at all. He addressed all my health concerns and answered all my questions.
