Jin H. Cai, DO

Patients of Dr. Cai’s may be familiar with his motto: “Teamwork makes the dream work.” As part of his patients’ team, he provides and advocates for the highest quality of care for each and every one of them.
“Every patient and family struggles with unique challenges,” he says. “My goal is to design an individualized treatment plan for each patient to achieve the best possible outcome.”
Dr. Cai was drawn to the field of health care out of a desire to use science to help people live healthier and happier lives. After earning a degree in biology from the University of California, Riverside, he studied medicine at Kansas City University. From there, he went on to the University of Missouri School of Medicine to complete a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in adolescent psychiatry. Today, he says, “I get to wake up every day and do something that I truly enjoy.”
On weekends, Dr. Cai enjoys the outdoor life of an avid fisherman.
