Her staff is fantastic and so are the office personnel.

Dr. Muntean has been excellent to work with, helping us understand the unknowns while diagnosing my daughters illness. She always makes us feel like we can contact her - even when she is in another country! We absolutely appreciate that because she is the only pediatric rheumatology doctor at Providence. We have since been referred to the pediatric rheumatology team at Seattle Children's, but continue care with Dr. Muntean since we live closer to Spokane. I would like to advocate for Dr. Muntean to be granted the time to attend the monthly Seattle Children's rheumatology team collaboration where they discuss ongoing tricky cases. My daughter is one of those cases, and for Dr. Muntean to be missing out on the opportunity to learn from their team collaboration/discussion is unfortunate. Not only is Dr. Muntean's patient (my daughter) discussed in this monthly collaboration, but the opportunity for learning in general would greatly benefit Dr. Muntean's pediatric rheumatology patients as well.

Dr. Muntean is interested in answering my questions. Although, wish I would be able to spend more time during my scheduled office visit. Dr. Muntean schedules her appts a bit close together. She's an excellent doctor.

Dr. Muntain saw me initially while in the hospital. She responded immediately and ordered a battery of tests and a biopsy to ascertain whether I had giant cell arteritis or not. She began a course of treatment in the meantime. Her care and knowledge were outstanding and I would highly recommend her to others.

The care provider is very kind. She isn't always good at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. She often is very blunt in her delivery and this can be off putting when discussing a potentially serious diagnosis. She is very knowledgable.

Provider listens well to patient's concerns and seeks further information to clarify, conveys interest in helping with concerns.

I can move because of her. She and her team care. I love this group. Turnover is high among their docs. I worry about high workloads or something else that is going to push her out. She is exceptional and I would hate to lose her.

Dr. Muntean is absolutely incredible. I would give a higher rating if I could. I had no wait time, she spent the entire appointment with me, she listened, gave feedback and made sure what we talked about was understood. She also was the only one that was able to identify my condition when my main doc was guessing and had guessed terribly. I cannot state enough good things about my recent appointment. Was only the second time seeing her and so far this is the best doctor and office staff in all of Spokane from my personal experiences. Thank you to Doctor Muntean and her peoples for being outstanding. Many other places could learn a lot from you all.
