About Jeevan S. Sall
Dr. Sall is a graduate of the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and attended medical school at St. Georges University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California where he served as the associate chief resident. Following residency, Dr. Sall completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, California.
Dr. Sall holds two board certifications in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine, and practices as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Doctor. Dr. Sall’s clinical expertise includes non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine, general musculoskeletal care, sports concussion, general medical needs of the athlete, and musculoskeletal procedures including joint and tissue injections. He also specializes in using point of care ultrasound in clinic to aid in diagnosis and management of many orthopedics and sports medicine conditions.
Dr. Sall has been an athlete his entire life. He has played on soccer teams that have travelled internationally, he has won medals in provincial karate tournaments, and he has won many different volleyball tournaments on various teams. Currently, Dr. Sall is an avid pickleball player and enjoys playing in local tournaments in Orange County. This experience gives Dr. Sall special insight into the care of the injured pickleball/ racquet-sports players, soccer players, martial arts athletes, and volleyball players.
Before joining Mission Heritage Medical Group, Dr. Sall was on the medical team for the professional major league soccer team LAFC (Los Angeles Football Club). He also served as the team physician for the minor league soccer team Las Vegas Lights. Dr. Sall enjoys being an active member in the community as he was recently the team physician for local high schools and colleges, including University of California, Riverside, which is a Division 1 athletics school. He was also a co-author on a widely recognized and impactful research study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, which showed that exercise decreased the risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes.
Dr. Sall is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
Dr. Sall’s outside interests include spending time with his wife Tami and their dog, Oliver. He also enjoys pickleball, travelling the world, spending time at our local Orange County beaches, and catching up on all sports by watching ESPN.
As a Sports Medicine specialist, Dr. Sall’s motto is, “I’ll work hard to keep you playing hard”.
