Stefanie Dieffenbach, WHNP-BC

Stefanie worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 15 years before becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner. In her current role, she is a passionate advocate for improving access to gynecological and obstetric health care for all. She also has a strong interest in promoting best practices in addiction medicine and is pursuing certification in addiction nursing (CARN).

“I work with an amazing team of humans who hold the same values and principles as I do regarding obstetric and gynecological health,” says Stefanie. In this collaborative environment, she adds, “I provide integrated, holistic, patient-centered care focused on total health and supported by evidenced-based practice.”

A graduate of Kent State University in Ohio, Stefanie completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Great Falls in Montana, and her master’s degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama.

A Midwestern transplant, Stefanie loves football and baseball. She, her partner and their two kids also enjoy playing board games, hiking with their dogs, paddle boarding and taking day trips. Her other interests include renovating her 1911 home, reading historical fiction, playing bar trivia and staying invested in her neighborhood. A passionate believer in volunteerism, Stefanie has volunteered with The Haitian Project and with Harvest International in Haiti and the Dominican Republic, spent three years in West Virginia with AmeriCorps, and currently volunteers with Portland Street Medicine.
