Veteran Crisis Line
A crisis line for veterans designed to connect you with caring, qualified responders with the Department of Veterans. Phone: 1-800-273-TALK (8255), press 1 to be connected to a trained VA responder.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
Hear about personal experiences from people in your local community whose lives have been impacted by suicide.

Crisis Text Line
A live, trained crisis counselor receives the text and responds, all from a secure online platform. Text HOME to 741741

Mental Health America
Tests for various mental illnesses including depression, anxiety, postpartum depression and several others. Results of tests will connect people to resources.

Disaster Distress Helpline
SAMHSA’s Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters. Phone: 1-800-985-5990 call or text to be connected to a crisis counselor.

County Department of Behavioral Help (DBH)

An extensive list of behavioral health resources for San Bernardino County residents. Call 888-743-1478 to access a 24/7 general helpline.

Community Crisis Response Teams (CCRT)
Provides crisis intervention services in the home and in the community. Services include assessments and referrals to appropriate mental health care services.

  • High Desert CCRT: Call 760-956-2345 or page 760-734-8093. Services are available 7 a. m. to 10 p. m.

United Way 211
Search via location and list of mental health resources, including crisis centers and inpatient/outpatient services.

NAAMI Inland Valley
NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation's largest "volunteer based" grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to bettering the lives of many who are affected by mental illness. Call 760-217-4109 or email: info@namiinlandvalley.org 

Victor Community Support Services
Victor Community Support Services is a community-based focused agency which delivers mental health and family support services in the homes, schools and communities in which people live. Located at 15400 Cholame Rd., Victorville. Call 760-780-4505.

Family Assistance Program
The Family Assistance Program aims to build stronger families through other services that do not necessarily pertain only to Domestic Violence. Their youth programs include:

  • Fam Spot: Provides a safe place for teens to hang out after school. Located at 16857 C Street Victorville. 
  • Our House/My Place: Provides shelter services for youth ages 11-17.

Crisis Walk-In Clinics/Crisis Center:
Serves more than 30,000 children, youth and families annually throughout the state at more than two dozen program sites, and employs more than 1,800 behavioral health workers including psychiatrists, psychologists and medical doctors, social workers, nurses, counselors, teachers and more. Psychiatry Walk-In Clinic 
Provides behavioral health resources for those in immediate need. All ages are welcome. Walk-In hours are available 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. and is located at 14390 Park Ave. Victorville. Call 442-327-9311 for more information.
