Local Elementary Students Shower Providence Caregivers with Thanks

Students Say Thank You to Health Care Workers at Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital and Providence St. Joseph Hospital

A group of local grade school students took it upon themselves to send well deserved love and gratitude to health care workers in Humboldt County recently.

On September 30th, caregivers from Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna were on the receiving end of hundreds of thank you cards and posters from students at Ambrosini Elementary School in Fortuna. The young artists presented their work to caregivers at Redwood Memorial expressing their deep thanks for caring for their community during COVID. Walker Elementary School also made a special delivery to grateful staff.
