U.S. News & World Report Names Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Among Best Hospitals for Napa, Sonoma

Following a year of delivering outstanding patient care, U.S. News & World Report named Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital to its 2023-2024 Best Hospitals. The rankings assist patients and their doctors in choosing the right hospital for them.

Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital ranks as one of the “Best Regional Hospitals” in the Napa-Sonoma region. U.S. News evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 21 procedures and conditions; only 12% of evaluated hospitals earned a “Best Regional Hospitals” ranking. Hospitals awarded a “Best” designation excelled at factors such as clinical outcomes, level of nursing care and patient experience.

In addition to the “Best Regional Hospitals” recognition, Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital also received acclaim as a “High Performing” hospital in seven common procedures or conditions – back surgery (spinal fusion), heart attack, heart failure, hip replacement, knee replacement, pneumonia, and stroke. This is the highest distinction a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings.

The annual Procedures & Conditions ratings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.
