Virtual education: Food and common cancer myths

Providence Cancer Institute in partnership with Pink Lemonade Project presented a free virtual education talk on food and common cancer myths. Christina Speaks, MS, RDN, LD, a registered dietitian at Providence Cancer Institute, Oncology Nutrition, was the guest speaker.

About Christina Speaks: 

Christina’s journey in nutrition began at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, where she completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees with a primary focus in nutrition research and community. She has spent a large part of her career in clinical nutrition, including critical care. Christina enjoys helping people feel confident and knowledgeable about the foods they eat. When she is not working, Christina enjoys distance running, hiking, camping and spending time with her husband and three sons.
