The provider was not my primary Dr. My primary doctor referred me to ER at Providence St. Mary High Desert. The provider examined me did testing and found I had clogged Arteries, the provider was (Dr. Makani) the Cardiologist . He did the surgery and I am well satisfied with the care I received. He explained how he was going to do the surgery in detail and I was very comfortable with him.

I wish that he had explained a procedure that I am going to have a little more thorough.

I couldn't be happier.

Overall, my providers, I currently have our above and beyond professional and knowledge based. I think I would recommend my cardiologist spend just a little bit more time explaining to me about how women differ in terms of cardiac care and concerns in comparison to males and signs and symptoms of warning signs of heart, disease or heart attack. I would also like to suggest that even if my labs are within normal range for my provider or practitioner to review my labs or send an email stating that my lab results are good and there is no need to be concerned about any of the resultsI have great confidence in my healthcare providers, and I know they work hard to maintain the integrity of their relationship with their patients and current care needed or renderedI do have to commend my nurse practitioner for my women's healthcare as she has been extremely wonderful, supportive and knowledge based regarding some of my women's health concerns.

Dr. Makani is an excellent cardiologist who listens to you concerns and conducts appropriate tests. I love the fact that he takes time to explain what test results are. He then will go over what needs to occur to improve your health needs.

No Complaints

No complaints as far as the treatment I received on June [Date] having a stress test, but in getting an IV put in I noticed that I have a little lump on my wrist still today [Date] so will call if it doesn't go down here in the next week or two.
