Dr. Whitelock is one of the few remaining physicians who are truly responsive to their patients' concerns. She treated every area I expressed concerns about, with ME in mind and she did not give me generic answers just to appease my worries and get me out of the office. She is positive, personable and kind.This was my annual check up so it was scheduled a year ago. Trying to schedule an appointment otherwise is impossible - not surprising for such a good doctor. For a new patient, it's close to a year; for an existing patient six months. That seems to be the situation with all my doctors. As a result, I have been in situations when I treated myself hoping that I was right. I knew it wasn't an emergencyroom situation or even urgent care where no serious investigation is possible, so I was out of viable options.

This is my second time to see her. She makes you feel comfortable as soon as she walks in the door. She checked my body all over to make sure that I didn't have anything on it. That wasn't supposed to be there.

The appt. Was for a follow up on a recent nasal surgery and exam. The doctor did a thorough examine of the surgical area. She also did an exam of my scalp, face, and chest an bach areas, andused liguid nitrogen on several spots on my face and neck. The procedure was cold but seemed to take care of the areas. She always asks if I have any concerns and explains procedures. I never feel rushed.

I always get the best care, that's why I stay with Providence.

Dr. Whitelock is a knowledgeable and compassionate dermatologist. I had a situation which required some immediate attention, and although her earliest standard appointment was over five months away, her office found a way to squeeze me into her busy schedule after a few days. She performed a biopsy, and I am waiting for the results, which should be available any day now. The purpose of the biopsy was to rule out a possible cancer. I am 75 years old, and I have seen Dr. Whitelock on several occasions, and each time I have been very pleased with my experiences.

Dr. Whitelock is fabulous! I used to have all my doctors at Providence St. Jude. I have only kept Dr. Whitelock because she is fabulous. All other Providence doctors I have cancelled and have switched to Hoag or UCLA Health Oncology Hematology. I am very happy with my decision to change doctors and facilities. I am now getting much better care in all aspects.

On my first visit she confirmed a skin cancer and provided an immediate referral to a plastic surgeon. A second surgery was scheduled immediately when the margins were not sufficient. Both doctors are responsible for me be alive and happy!
