About Zachary G. Pena
Dr. Zachary Pena believes his primary job as a physician is to improve the lives of others while also developing relationships with his patients. "I see myself as an advocate for my patient's skin health, and I think I can achieve this by listening to their concerns and building relationships with them," he says.
Teamwork is important to Dr. Pena. "I want my patients to clearly understand the nature of their skin condition and for us to work together to find the best treatment for them," he says. "My philosophy of care is to provide the same care I would want for myself and my family."
Dr. Pena earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Pena completed a combined medicine and surgery intern year at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, and finished his dermatology residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Raised in Northern California, Dr. Pena grew to the love the Pacific Northwest while playing competitive golf throughout Oregon. In his free time he enjoys woodworking, golfing, running, cycling and spending time with family. Dr. Pena is married with two daughters and one son.
