Very happy with my care provider

My experience with Dr. Shen and her staff was wonderful, they are all so nice and helpful. I referred my boss to Dr. Shen to use as her primary physician and she relocated to California and is looking for a primary physician.

Regarding the appointment in mind ,this was the first time in many years I have ever had to wait more than 15 minutes for my doctor to see me while I waited in her exam room. She is always good about coming in within 5-8 minutes and is always happy to see me.

They have always had my health issues as their number one issue to take care of and made me feel they were interested in my health issues.

I have a great doctor (Dr Shen) who really is concerned for her patients and their needs. She intently listens and gives great suggestions for our health. She was pivotal to me when my mother passed away in 2021 who was also one of her patients. She knew of my mom's decline, and I kept her abreast when she went in the hospital. She was empathetic to my needs and called me to give condolences once she was informed of her passing. She was a beacon of hope during that painful time. Blessed for a doctor who cares for her patients.

Dr Shen and her team has been very responsive to my medical needs. I appreciate it greatly.

My last visit was an annual wellness visit. I felt that Dr. Shen was very thorough in her exam and was up to date on everything, including immunizations. She also adjusted my diabetes medication because my A1c was elevated. I have not had any bad experiences related to my care provider.

Been with Dr Shen for many years. I must say that my recent visit was probably the best ever. She listened to my medical update and how my recent surgery has made me more positive on life. I appreciate the time she took to really show her concern about my weight gain and to help me take control.

Dr. Shen was very insightful regarding how side effects of treatment from other specialists could be affecting my general health. Dr. Shen provided me with some good information on nutrition. The After Visit Summary I received after the Zoom meeting was very useful. I visit my Providence Patient Portal often and it is an important source of information for me.

The medical exam Dr. Shen gave me was very thorough. She gave me excellent advice regarding how I could improve my health care. She went through my blood analysis in detail and explained where there were shortcomings and how I could improve. She was quick to compliment me when I was doing well and offered tips for improvement when I was not,The scribe was very efficient and worked hard at recording all Important things that took place during the exam. She was good at keeping a low profile and I was rarely distracted by her during the exam.The PA who escorted me to the exam room, took my vitals, and asked me health risk assessment questions was very methodical, efficient, and easy to interact with. She was friendly and put me at my ease.The PA who prepared my After Visit Summary did an excellent job making a permanent record of what transpired during the medical exam and presented information that I could use to improve my health. I appreciate the fact that she created the After Visit Summary very quickly so I could take it with me when I left.

There's no bad experience; my PCP is always good to me anytime I see her, listen, patience explain everything thoroughly to me, that while I don't like any other provider but sometimes u have to give chance to others.
