About Neil M. Olsen
Dr. Neil Olsen says seeing his patients' health improve is the most enjoyable part of being a physician. "Knowing that I can play a role in encouraging patients to take good care of themselves is very gratifying," he says. "I can help them avoid illness and injury, but when those things do occur, I am there for the treatment. That's why I became a doctor. I love a challenge and I also enjoy helping people."
Dr. Olsen earned his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his residency at Central Washington Family Medicine in Yakima, Washington. He received his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Washington State University.
Born in Connecticut and raised in Bozeman, Montana, and Corvallis, Oregon, Dr. Olsen is married and has five children. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church, distance running and mountain hiking. He speaks some Danish.
