Sarah R. Garey, DO

Sarah Garey, DO, became a family medical provider because she enjoys the diversity of her work. She loves that in a single day she gets the opportunity to care for children, care for medically complex patients, and perform routine preventative care. “My most important role as a physician is to provide patients with the highest level of care while always treating them with respect, dignity and compassion,” says Dr. Garey.

Dr. Garey earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Science and went on to complete her internship and residency at Community Health Care. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in both neuroscience and anthropology.

“My favorite part about being a family medicine provider is getting to be a part of my patients' lives and developing relationships with them over time,” says Dr. Garey. “I aim to communicate effectively and to treat each patient as if they were my own family member.”

Dr. Garey was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, but has lived in the Pacific Northwest for the past eight years. She is the proud mother of two children and enjoys art and culture, good food, and good company.
