Shannon R. Ehleringer, DO

From a young age Dr. Shannon Ehleringer felt a calling to help people and to someday become a doctor. When she completed her undergraduate degree, she made the decision to spend a few years traveling and working different jobs in medicine and research. In time, this led her to medical school where she went on to study family medicine. "Relationships, with patients and colleagues alike, are the most enjoyable part of my career," states Dr. Ehleringer.

Studying family medicine has allowed her to experience the diversity of care from infants and pediatrics to adults and geriatrics. Also, as a recent veteran of the United States Air Force, Dr. Ehleringer understands intimately the challenges faced by active duty service members, their families and veterans.

She is skilled at performing a number of clinic procedures such as PAP smears, joint injections, skin biopsies, keloid injections, acupuncture, OMT, trigger point injections, IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal.

Dr. Ehleringer, a board-certified osteopathic family physician, earned her medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. She completed her internship and residency program at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in California, and also at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Ehleringer grew up in Mulino, Oregon, and considers the Beaver State to be her home. She and her husband own a small farm and they enjoy all the activities associated with it. When away from her practice, she enjoys various outdoor activities such as rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, gardening and whitewater rafting. In her free time, she also likes to partake in wine and jam making, arts and crafts, and family time.
